Simple Sunday

What a nice weather day we had today. The temperature got up in the seventies, it was just gorgeous. I spent too much of the day inside doing laundry and getting caught up for the week to come. The kids did play outside quite a bit though and I'm glad for that. About five-ish we jumped into Jeff's truck and went on a nature drive. Oh, it was so pretty...I love the trees during fall time and we spotted several deer with the binoculars and a couple of them were just right off of the dirt road we were on. *a mama with her baby* When we got home we started dinner, earlier in the day we had already decided we were gonna do breakfast for dinner. ( i love doing that) We had bacon, fried eggs, yummy yummy hash browns w/ a little onion cut up in it, and some toast. The kids loved it! Baby M shoveled egg in that little mouth of his.

I made myself a sandwich w/ everything on it but the hash browns and it was nice!!! Loverly to be exact. You should go make yourself one of these here sandy-wiches....toast, bacon, fried-egg, Red Robin seasoning, cheddar cheese....DELIGHTFUL!! I could kiss this yummy-ness.
What do you LOVE eating?
P.S. Feeling like I need to have a spa day tomorrow...seriously needing some detox after all that naughty food. Maybe a good run would do me some good.

P.P.S. Seriously wondering how Pioneer Woman gets all of those pretty pictures of food. Hmmm....maybe it's called a REALLY good professional camera. Ok, got it.

I wasted the day inside too. I had a junk-food binge and found WAY too many good movies on the HBO/Cinemax style channels. ("That Thing You Do?" "Music of the Heart?" "The Da Vinci Code?" Yes, please!)

With that being said, I wish I had done a nature drive. I love nature drives, it's a great time to think, reflect, and sing showtunes at the top of your lungs. Did I say showtunes? I mean manly bands like Metallica of course *shifty eyes*.

I had a banana for breakfast which normally does the trick, now I am starving!!!!!!! Will you bring me some of that?

That sounds YUM-O!! What a great day.

LOVE PW's pictures of food, horses, kids . . . well, everything. :) As much as you guys love photography, you should really invest in a DSLR. I know you'd get lots of use and enjoyment out of it!
