Kid Friendly Meals

We had vegetable/beef soup for dinner tonight, the kids liked it...but I think they're bored with what I cook. You can only make so many soups, pizza, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets and french fries. What do you feed your kiddos that's easy and yummy? I need some extra kid friendly go to's stored away in my mommy recipe file.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Send some quick meals my way....ok, Thank you much!!
Love you, Katy

You know I don't cook, but we love this and it is easy:

brown hamburger meat and drain
add ranch beans and heat
mix cornbread mix
Put meat and beans in a cass dish
cover that with cheese
Pour cornbread mix over the whole thing.

Cook in oven according to corn bread directions.

We eat it up.

my girls will never, never turn down buttered pasta of any kind. AJ is easy - she eats any old thing I fix for Kyle and myself. Dacey is UBER PICKY. It's usually rice, pasta, veggies, and fruit for her. She HAS to eat a bite or two of the main dish. I don't know how she lives on what she eats.

I'll be watching to see everyone's good ideas!

I love your choice of the words "kid friendly" in your post. Remember when we used to make little pizzas using biscuits or something like that? Those were fun.. Also, breakfast for supper is always good.

Oooh girl I wish I could help - I am in the same boat wih you. I feel like my littles survive on graham crackers and cheese toast!

One new thing I am trying is pasta wheels. I boil them in chicken broth to give them flavor. I also make mac n cheese and mix in peas. My kids are hit and miss though - sometimes they eat it up sometimes they don't touch it. Little stinkers. :o)

Your kiddos are so cute!
Luke eats a lot of the same things...Mickey pasta and pals, mac and cheese, hot dogs, lunch meat on bread with cheese melted on top, cucumbers to dip in ranch, loves cheeseburgers...I don't think I am helping much! :)
