It snowed for LPB

{Everyday Unwrapped can be seen at Chatting at the Sky where she tells us to see the great things in our "everyday" living}.
L it snowed for you today, just in time for you to head to school. Tomorrow is your 6th birthday and what a better way to kick off the birthday spirit than with snow!
L has been asking me for several weeks when it was going to snow, because it's December you know and almost Christmas and that's just what it should do.
He kept wanting to watch the news last night b/c he had heard at school that we were going to have snow. I'm so happy that it did, it just seems fitting. How nice that such a simple thing can make someone smile. He bundled up this morning from head to toe and raced outside to play, he loved every minute of it.
Today I am grateful for the snow; which makes my babies smile! I am grateful for a heated home, food on our table and the sweetness of my family. Thank you Lord for speaking through me and showing me the simplicity of your wonder. I was having a crazy morning, exhausting grocery shopping and wild lunch. I am better now. Thank you Lord for the many wonders!

Our patio furniture covered in white.

L's school behind our house. (It's getting a new roof.)

I'm also thankful for being able to see the building throughout the day where L is all day.

Have a wondrous day my friends.

Awwwwwwwww! So snowy white. I wonder if it'll make it down here. I kind of hope not because I kind of hate snow, BUT I know Dacey would LOVE it.

I am also so very thankful for a nice, cozy, warm house today.

Great post! I'll pass on the snow, we're from Alaska, so I've seen my share of snow to last me a lifetime! LOL But my son prays for snow! Happy Holidays!

Aww, I'm glad you guys got some snow up there! We haven't had anything but bone chilling winds down this way. I think that is too sweet that L got his snow for an early birthday present! :) Hope he has a happy one tomorrow!

On my post...Funny that you mentioned it, I've already thought that Buddy might just go to sleep with Jakey one night soon. :) It's so much fun thinking up ideas for him. :) Has Santa sent an Elf to keep an eye on your kiddos yet? :)

Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog!

How funny that your son wanted snow and I'd do anything to get rid of it. But what a fun surprise/gift from mother nature. I'm glad that somebody likes that cold white stuff.

Oh, how I love snow days! Although it would take a storm of a magnitude not measured yet to keep Andy home for the day - so I guess a snow day is like any other day for me! :)

Happy birthday to your son - and I hope that another snow day comes along for you guys soon.
