Annie has decided that she is going to make her permanent residence in our Christmas tree. Oh, what to do with her.?.? I'm afraid to put ornaments on the tree, guess I'll just put our non-breakable ones on. Any thoughts on how to keep her out of it?
Kim...This is the ONLY way that I thought I could reach you. I know I cannot get on your blog, what's up with that? I also tried to email you at kimmy...but keep getting it sent back. I'm being selfish here, but I don't want you to stop blogging...I will miss you. my email... kbaker@ctrail.net let me know what's going on , ok
There's no way to stop a tree cat. Once they are nestled within the cozy brances surrounded by a carnival of twinkle lights there is no getting them out. I'm afraid plastic ornaments (or better yet, no ornaments) are your only option. You might try spritzing it with citrus scented room spray. Supposedly cats are turned off by lemony aromas.
I only have a doggie so I am no help with the climbing. If your kitty starts lifting her leg on the tree, I can offer some help in that department. haha!
Katy - we never had a tree while we had cats for this very reason. Well, I take that back. Our second Christmas I put one up and every time we came home from anywhere or got up in the morning, they had knocked the WHOLE DANG THING DOWN. GRRRRRR! I gave up.
My husband Jeff and I have 3 wonderful, funny, silly, crazy, loving children. LP 6, B Girl 4, Mc 2. I am a stay at home mama that is really into decorating, crafting, painting and much more. I am an artsy individual, yet have a hard time finding a moment to actually get something crafty started.

LOVE the new look. She did a fantastic job. Yea! Good luck in my giveaway:-)
Holy cow! Let's hope the kitty doesn't decide to hang on any branches. Your tree may come down when your not looking! Too cute!
